I came across these lovely little gourds at Trader Joe’s this week and It sparked some fall holiday crafting!
Since the giver in me always likes to think of whoΒ my craft will go to.. I decided to make a little Halloween decoration for the handsome gentleman in my life :).
I chose a Day of the Dead theme to accommodate his love for hispanic culture (and of course, skulls), looked up some inspiration, and simply drew on the gourd with a sharpie!

First I traced it out with a pencil so I knew exactly what I wanted to do.. then I went over it with a sharpie. |

Black tissue paper + orange fabric scraps frayed at the edge = simple gift wrap π |
You could duplicate this in any design really…black cats, jack-o-lantern faces. Β I think a bunch of different ones would look great as a centerpiece or on the mantle!
Happy Crafting!
