Hello, sewing friends!
It’s hard to believe we’re already into May 2025 — how did that happen so fast?! I thought it would be fun this year to check in with you all more often with little sewing round-ups, since I’m not doing individual “makes” videos as frequently anymore.
Today I’m sharing everything I’ve sewn so far this year — six handmade garments that I’ve loved stitching up these past few months. From cozy jackets to fun tees and even perfect airport pants (yes, there is such a thing!), this is what’s come off my sewing machine so far in 2025.

Why a Quarterly Sewing Round-Up?
As many of you know, I’ve been embracing slower sewing and a more intentional wardrobe lately. I’m really leaning into sewing with purpose — making pieces that fit my lifestyle, that bring me joy to wear, and that get me excited to head into the studio.
Doing quarterly sewing updates helps me celebrate that process, share what I’m learning with you, and hopefully inspire your own creative journey! Plus, it holds me a little accountable. (Because honestly, if I don’t show it on the blog or on YouTube… did it even happen? 😂)

Final Thoughts
I’m thrilled with the pace and intention of my sewing so far this year. Six makes in four months feels just right — enough to keep me inspired without getting overwhelmed or wasteful.
And while I love a good “big sewathon,” this year I’m reminding myself that slow and steady is equally rewarding. Every finished piece gets worn, loved, and appreciated.
I hope this little round-up encourages you to reflect on your own sewing so far this year — and maybe inspires your next project!
