She’s here she’s here she’s finally here!!!! My newest PDF pattern the Chelsea Party Dress has been a long time in the making. I’m so happy to finally be able to introduce her to you!
The Chelsea Party Dress was made for dancing and twirling all night long! She comes in two views, an above-the-knee short length and a maxi length. Her style lines feature a plunging neckline, princess seams, an open back, an undercuts band and a contrasting hem piece. There are so many great options for color blocking with this dress – or keep it simple and stunning in one bold color.

This fun and flirty dress is perfect in flowy, drape-y fabrics for wedding season, or dress it down in fun printed cottons for a sweet sundress.
She is currently available in sizes 0-20, with plans to add 6 more sizes later this year. The Chelsea Party Dress was largely completed when I decided to start working on my new size range. It was a tough decision as to whether or not I would hold off her release to include the new sizes. In the end, I had been working on her for so long I knew I just wanted to get her out into the world! I look forward to continuing work on this pattern to grade it into a more inclusive size range for all to enjoy!
Some of my favorite things about this pattern:
First, of course, the POCKETS!! What good is a party dress if you don’t have anywhere to stash your lipstick amiright!?
Second, I love the sexy plunging neckline and the fact that it is supported by a strip of 1/4″ elastic to keep everything … ahem… in place.
I also adore all the possibilities for color blocking that the style lines in this pattern provide.
