I am so excited to finally be releasing my second pattern …. the Roksi Trio!!!!! This 26-in-1 pattern is going to be so great for summer.
I’ve got lots of pictures below but I think the amazing versatility of this pattern is best viewed in video format so be sure to watch the promo video below:
The Roksi Trio includes 3 views (a crop, tank, and dress) each of which is reversible & layer-able for 26 possible outfit combinations. The silhouette is super swingy and playful. The front has a V neckline while the back has a unique take on a racer-back. The multitude of outfit combinations makes this trio a great option for summer travel. Sew it up in lightweight, drapey fabrics for optimal swing!
Each Amy Nicole Studio pattern is named after an inspiring woman in my life. This one is named after one of my very best friends Rita aka Roksi. Her vibrant personality and enthusiasm are infectious, and she loves a good dress you can twirl in. Short in height but not in spunk, she taught me how to make every day a fun day.
I hope you love this pattern as much as I do! Watch this space for the sewalong to come, and in the meantime…

This is just gorgeous! I love the flowy swing you have in this dress! I was at our local fabric place and looking at the rayon, and the owner said that making the items reversible would make them very heavy and lose the drape. 🙁 What fabric did you use to make this yellow and blue outfit?

Hi Toni!
Thank you so much. The dress length is both crepe de chine. The tank and crop are each rayon on one side and crepe de chine on the other. Personally I don’t think youd have a problem with double sided rayon. The shape is still there in the pattern and I honestly think the weight encourages more of a drape. Truly it’s probably a matter of opinion. The only thing I’d say is my rayon layers got really out of whack on at the bias-y hems so you don’t want to skip the hanging and trimming step.

Too bad you don’t have plus sizes

Hi Casey! Thanks so much for your feedback. My patterns currently go up to a size 20 or XL. I am not personally experience in drafting for plus size but it is something I would like to be able to offer in the future!
