I thought that now would be a great time to feature this project because many of us have started back at school (I have till the 30th!) or perhaps journaling more is on your resolution list. The moment I saw this fabric covered notebook tutorial over at / / Between the lines / / I knew it was the perfect project for me for several reasons:
- I’m obsessed with stationary
- Fabric is my favorite medium
- I LOVE projects that find a purpose for scraps!
You can find the tutorial here. Under the materials list she used this stuff called “Vliesofix”, which I couldn’t find but I used “Steam-A-Seam” instead which I picked up at my local quilting store and it worked just fine. I just added a bit of glue to the corners so they didn’t start to peal up.
Here’s how mine turned out:

Now I’m all the more excited for school supply season! I think that is the thing I will miss most when I finish school! Non-students can partake right?!?
Happy Crafting!
