One of the scariest parts of creating your own PDF Pattern is the testing process. Yes… scary. Putting your pattern into testing means it is going to be read and sewn by new eyes & hands other than your own for the first time ever. Most of the time those eyes & hands belong to people you respect in the sewing community. It’s one thing testing it on your own but you created the thing so you can only catch so many mistakes or confusing points. Basically what I imagined was that this pattern I worked so hard on was going to be ripped to shreds by a pack of blood thirsty savage seamstresses.
… Luckily for me that was not at all the case. I was truly blessed to have an amazingly talented and kind group of testers for my first go around. They were all so patient with me, even with my dumbest of mistakes. And their makes turned out beautifully.
Without further ado, let me introduce you to my lovely testers and their Patti Pocket Skirts!
NAME: Abigail
SITE: https://fiercelypetite.blogspot.com/
DETAILS: Abby was one of my petite testers who was super happy to not have to alter the length. She made View A in denim and it lost so sweet and sassy on her with this striped tank. Check out her blog post about the skirt here.
NAME: Ana
INSTAGRAM: @_anasuarez
DETAILS: Ana is another one of my petite gals. She made view A in this beautiful rust color perfect for fall! What she says about the pattern: “I absolutely loved this pattern! It was so easy and everything fit perfectly!”
NAME: Dana
INSTAGRAM: @gingerootss
