It’s that time! Pilar and I have been pouring over all of your amazing makes and we just can’t believe the amazing work y’all have done!
Before getting onto the awards I just want to say I am so impressed with all of you. The transformations were all spectacular and it was quite tricky to choose. Luckily enough the same people stood out to both Pilar and I so that made it a bit easier. I hope you enjoyed looking through the hashtag and seeing everyones transformations as much as we did. Everyone seemed to be happy with the restyles they got back too which makes me so happy!

Now, without further ado, here are this years Restyling Exchange 2018 stand out participants!
MOST RADICAL
There were a couple that could have won this category but Helen of @52_dresses made this amazing skirt for Tasneem of @idylltryst out of a dress and we just love the fun use of color and drafting!
BIGGEST TRANSFORMATION
Kate absolutely WOWED us with her transformation of this oversized mu-mu style dress into a pair of adorable dungarees for @lottievinsen. Who’s been spotted wearing them a few times so must love them as much as we do!
BEST MODELING
Olga really loves the jacket Soraya restyled for her (so do we!) and it shows! She posted several pictures and she looks so stunning and happy (and sassy!) she was a shoe-in for best modeling!
LEAST LEFTOVER FABRIC
This was really hard as so many of you did such a great job in this category! (Seriously I’m so proud!) I’m also so happy that a lot of you remembered to take pictures of your leftovers. Laura stood out to us with this scrap pile a touch bigger than her hand!
I also want to give an honorable mention here to @ridvanandsprout who just kept making until she had nothing but tiny unusable scraps left!
BEST BEFORE & AFTER PICTURE
This was another tough choice, but we love a good side-by-side before and after. Stephanie has great photography skills and we love her clean side-by-side transformation shots!
PILAR’S FAVE
Pilar chose Savana’s creation for Helene as her favorite resytle and I have to say it was one of my faves too! Savana combined polka dots & mustard in the absolute best way possible and we think the result is so fun!
AMY’S FAVE
This transformation by Rose for Katie completely took my breath away! Katie gave rose this amazing dress to work with and she did not disappoint. I love that she created separates that look super cute when worn together but will get good milage worn on their own as well.
And thats a wrap for this years Restyling Exchange! Don’t forget to use the links above to fill out the feedback form if you participated and sign up for our email list if you want to participate next year!
You guys are endlessly inspiring and we are already looking forward to next years exchange.
Happy Restyling everyone!

It was so much fun following all the reveals, I’m really curious how many people participated. I chickened out just like the first year but hopefully I’m going to really have a go next year. Cheers to you and Pilar for organizing!

Love this challenge! So much inspiration for my own restyling projects and fantastic community spirit. I may have to get a public account before next year so I can join too.
