Congratulations you made it! Today is the last day of the sewalong, and now that your Patti Pocket Skirt is all completed. I wanted to leave you with a few styling tips to keep you inspired with your new make year round!
CASUAL
Dress it down for day wear with some cute sneakers, flats or sandals. Pair a solid Patti Pocket with a brightly colored crop top to liven up the outfit.
GLAM
Add shimmer! If you opted to go for a solid, more neutral fabric, the Patti Pocket skirt can still be made party-ready with a little shimmer on top. Pick a top thats cropped at just the right length and you won’t have to tuck it in OR worry about your tummy showing.
OFFICE
I dont know what it is about this skirt that makes me want to throw on a pussy bow blouse with it but I think the two make a great combo. Add tights and you have one fun work outfit.
TEE TIME
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. One of my favorite ways to dress down a flirty skirt is to pair it with a jersey tee. Bonus points for stripes! (if your Patti Pocket isn’t striped already)
PARTY TIME
Night out with the girls? Skip the tights and throw on a super cropped top for an extra flirty look.
I have lots more inspiration on my Patti Pocket Skirt pinterest board so be sure to check there as well.
It has been so much fun putting this sewalong together for you! I hope you found it both informative and enjoyable. If you followed it daily, please let me know in the comments what you thought. Again, I cant wait to see your Patti Pockets in the wild, so don’t forget to tag #pattipocketskirt and #pattipocketsewalong on social media.
I’m going to be taking a bit of a break to spend time with family and relax over the holidays. I will see y’all in 2018 with a new pattern sometime in the spring!
Happy Sewing everyone!

Thank you for all the help in this sew-along! My first one is finished now, and the second one (long version) just needs hemming.
