The Pattern
The Whitney Raincoat is a raglan sleeved coat with a swing shape, bagged lining, and center back box pleat. We will be covering lots of more advanced techniques with this pattern and sewalong as it is the most advanced sewing pattern I’ve released yet! Most notably we are covering how to sew a bagged lining, insert woven raglan sleeves, and waterproof your raincoat by sealing the imperative seams.
Waterproofing, however is totally optional! This pattern can be sewn in wool, soft-shell, twill.. any medium-heavy weight fabric you choose! Make it your own. Check out the tester roundup for more Inspo!
