Sooooo… we are half way into January and yes, I am JUST NOW sharing my goals for 2014. (I’m a little late for this train, I know) BUT even though I am just now posting them, they have been on my mind for a while now.
You will see some repeats from last year (I’m horrible I know), and I STILL haven’t finished that shirt for the Gentleman (boy am I lucky he sticks around), but this year I can confidently say is looking a little more … manageable. One thing you may notice is that I’m hoping to focus a little more on self-care this year. A horrible habit I have is running my self ragged with my 50-million jobs/projects/obligations and for what? If 2013 has taught me anything it’s that life is short, and you’ve got to take care of yourself. So in 2014 not only am I planning for more “me” time, but I am also streamlining my to-do lists so that things feel much more manageable, and life can move at a much smoother, less stressful pace. For instance, if what I had planned to get done in a certain week is all finished – maybe I’ll just sit back and relax instead of seeing what I can cram in from next week – take that lingering to-do list!!
