Hey gang!
I am once again finding myself with the need to apologize for the radio silence. I won’t lie and tell you I’ve been busy. Actually, I have had a little extra time on my hands recently which has been oh-so-lovely! You know, when I started this blog I was crazy gung-ho and felt like if I didn’t post at least twice a week RELIGIOUSLY than no one would want to follow me and I would fall into the crap-o bloggers oblivion. But if I’m being honest, lately I just haven’t had the motivation… and drab, forced content is soooooooo lame, and totally not my steez. So I’ve just been experimenting with only blogging when I can just feel that itch pulsing through my veins like “Must share fabulous fashion and crafty-ness with world NOW!” Do you ever get in that mode when various things going on in your life cause you to feel so… unmotivated? Or am I just being lazy? (its ok .. I can handle the truth).
Anywho, been feeling that itch lately because I am the proud owner of a Slice Fabrique! If you are unfamiliar with this AMAZING gadget it is a lovely little tool for cutting appliques out of fabric and paper. Hundreds of adorable and irresistible little designs at your fingertips, just waiting to be smartly chiseled out of fabric and slapped on endless possibilities of projects. Lately I’ve been using this brilliant device to amp up my game on my birthday cards, and I’ve just been itchin’ to share some of the pics with you!
So these are my super fantastic handmade greeting cards featuring the Slice Fabrique! I just love hand-making my greeting cards (or purchasing other handmade ones). I feel like it adds such a nice personal touch and is such a step up from lame-o ones from the card isle at the pharmacy.
I’d love for your feedback on handmade cards, feeling unmotivated, and pancakes to fill my little comment form to the brim! (ok, I know I didn’t discuss pancakes today – but when are pancakes ever irrelevant?… exactly)
Happy Friday y’all!
