I inherited this very cozy American Apparel sweatshirt from a friend at work (we like to trade clothes every time someone cleans out their closet). So of course, the first thing I do is think about how I can re-fashion it. I immediately decided it would be fun to cover in a cute print. Naturally it went to the bottom of my “to-do” bin for a while as I doodled some ideas of what to print it with. I thought this would also be a great opportunity to carve my own stamp – something I’ve been meaning to try. So I’m doodling and I’m doodling and before I know it I have too many cute doodles and… of course… I can’t decide. Thats when I had the MOST BRILLIANT idea for this new series: You Pick my Project!
How it works:
I will lay out for you the details and plans I have so far for said crafty project. You (my lovely readers) help me pick the final touches by leaving your choice in the comments! Now that’s what I call good crowd participation.
Here is basically what the sweatshirt looks like (I plan on wearing pants/leggings with mine – sorry honey):
A. The Sly Little Fox
B. The Simple Heart
C. The Vintage Camper
D. The funky Penquin
E. The Lovely Horseshoe
